Though it does not appear so, much of the media is male dominated. To me, this explains a lot of the representation and treatment of women in Media, be it of a conceptual creation or an event based in reality. Many of these outlets, particularly news outlets, are conceived of a patriarchal design as shown by these statistics. Would that be the cause of what’s holding us back?
